Benefits of Chapter Membership

Professional Development

Seminars – PRSACC offers seminars on a regular basis to provide a more in-depth discussion of a particular subject in a more intimate setting. Click here to view details on upcoming seminars and to register. Members always enjoy discounts on chapter programs!

Accreditation – Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) is the only professional certification program open to public relations professionals, and is administered by the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB), a consortium of 10 leading industry organizations, including PRSA. PRSACC helps candidates prepare for the Examination for Accreditation in Public Relations and assembles readiness review panels when candidates come forward to declare intent to sit for review. Click to read more on Accreditation.

Networking

Events – PRSACC offers a variety of events to afford networking opportunities.

Committees - PRSACC's committee structure is vital to the success of the Chapter. Countless hard-working members devote time and energy to each committee. Committee involvement often allows members to build a closer working relationship with other professionals within the committee structure. Find out more about Committees.

Awards

Image Awards – The Image Awards is an annual awards competition designed to recognize programs and projects which demonstrate excellence in the public relations profession. The awards competition is open to all PR practitioners who reside in our chapter's territory. Entries are submitted in early spring each year and winners are announced at the May Awards Celebration. See this year's Winners.
